ASANIN Studio operates this website and online store under the ASANIN brand. The online store uses Shopify as its e-commerce platform.

This Privacy Policy describes how ASANIN Studio collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit the website, make a purchase, contact us or otherwise use our services.

ASANIN Studio is the data controller for the processing of personal data described in this policy. Shopify and other service providers may process personal data on our behalf or, for certain processing activities, as independent data controllers.

Shopify and other service providers

ASANIN Studio uses Shopify to operate the online store. Shopify therefore processes personal data required to provide the e-commerce platform and its functionality.

For certain processing activities, Shopify acts as a data processor on behalf of ASANIN Studio. For other processing activities, Shopify may act as an independent data controller and is then responsible for its own processing of personal data.

marketing, where such services are used and you have made the choices or provided the consent required.

Payments

Payments in the online store are processed through Shopify Payments and the payment methods offered at checkout, including Klarna.

ASANIN Studio may have access to information required to administer the purchase, such as payment status, payment method, amounts and refund information. We do not normally have access to your full card details.

Shopify, Klarna and other payment providers may process personal data necessary to process payments, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations. Where a payment provider processes personal data as an independent data controller, such processing is governed by that provider's own privacy policy.

Shipping and delivery

In order to deliver your order, we provide the necessary information, such as your name, delivery address and, where applicable, telephone number or email address, to the carrier or delivery partner responsible for the delivery.

The information is processed in order to perform our contract with you and deliver your order.

When we disclose personal data

We may disclose personal data to Shopify and other service providers where necessary to operate the online store and provide our services.

Personal data may also be disclosed where we are required to do so by law, a decision by a public authority or another legal obligation, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell your personal data.

Shopify and other service providers may process personal data outside Sweden and, in some cases, outside the EU/EEA.
